Choosing the Right Recliner

Power vs. Manual
Power recliners offer effortless operation at the touch of a button — ideal if you have difficulty pushing back with your legs or if you want precise positioning. Manual recliners are simpler, require no electricity, and are equally comfortable.
Room Size
A standard recliner needs 12–18 inches behind it to fully open. If your space is tight, a wall-hugger model only needs 4–6 inches from the wall.
Lift Chairs for Mobility
